shelters and social media

Dog Fancy, May 2013, reports on a wonderful shelter, Animal Rescue League Shelter and Wildlife Center. They are actively using social media to increase adoptions, generate volunteers and even win prizes ($25,000 from ASPCA and others).

Check out their site if you work with a shelter, live in Pittsburgh and want to help, love to see great pictures and funny stories, and to celebrate success in helping animals. In 3 months they placed 2,176 dogs and cats.
