sugar for wounds

while here in Kauai, a friend fell and had a deep, painful scrape, almost to the bone. His healer wife and I brainstormed.

1. Calendula in water – done and still painful

2. Honey – great for ulcers, wound healing.

Then she remembered seeing white sugar, poured in dry – work well. No pain and by the next day only a very slightly raw area left. Finally a good use for sugar!
