Cradle to cradle. Flowers are not, then they are a bud, then they blossom, then fade, then wither, then reappear as a bud…or is it the same bud. Thich Nhat Hanh, a Zen monk, teacher, poet, peace activist, and the author of  No Death, No Fear said he asked a new camellia bud if it were the same one that had died 3 weeks before of frost, or if it were a new one. The bud told him it was neither – energetically the flower always exists, sometimes in physical form and sometimes not.

Each of you wonderful people who choose to share your lives with animals will experience grief. You will nurse older animals. You will nurse young animals who develop terminal illnesses. the more self healing modalities you learn (Reiki, HTA, TTouch, massage, flower essences, homeopathy, essential oils and more) the better you can help in these transitions.
