A friend of mine’s aunt in the Baltimore are died recently, leaving behind an 8 yr old calico cat, Betsy Ross. She desperately needs a loving home. She is currently living in the home and being fed twice a day. If you hear of anyone who wants Betsy please have them contact Linda at 410-967-3114. thank you.
So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend’s aunt. And to hear that this left a cat in Baltimore homeless (er, or at least, without a living owner). It is good of someone to step in to at least feed kitty Betsy Ross, but I hope someone has stepped forward, or will very soon step forward, to offer Ms. Ross a new home. A senior cat is a great choice as a pet — because they generally are placid and won’t shred the curtains or trip you as you try to walk down the hall (can you tell that it is “kitten season” and lots of us in rescue are awash with babies?).
Sometimes, a picture attracts a new owner more quickly — this was what led me to fall in love with my last cat, Carrie. If Betsy Ross has a cute favorite pose or a look that someone could capture in a photo, maybe that could be posted to the blog and more people could notice her.
